What we want more than anything is to uphold the traditions of earlier Mohren generations and keep them alive. At the same time, we aim to continuously develop in order to offer our guests an experience that is also right up-to-date.

The "Rankweiler" and "Ludescher" dining rooms offer a snug, cosy setting in which to enjoy some time out. The restaurant, on the other hand, with its three fine dining areas and comfortable conservatory is refined, sleek and very modern.

The Mohren is well known for its delightful decorations. Gerda Herburger adds her lovely touches throughout the hotel. A visit here is a treat for the eyes as well as for the palate.

This is how master chef Pascal Lang describes his promising cooking concept:

"The modern way of cooking for us is to incorporate tradition. Seasonal cuisine must be prepared honestly and regionally. Bringing the best flavour experience to the plate with local produce."

From Thursday to Saturday from 17:30, the kitchen team conjures up a gourmet menu of the highest standard. The speciality here is the combination of regional and seasonal products with a flair of modern tradition. The evening menus are accompanied by wine.

Our wine cellar

The "Mirza-Franz-Hus" has an impressive 120-year-old vaulted cellar which we use for tastings. It is perfectly suited for an aperitif reception or wine tasting. After enjoying your meal we will be happy to invite you on a short tour and to round off the experience with a digestif in the cellar.

Wine tastings are available for groups of six or more.
